Our Favourite Spas

One of Dubai’s favourite pastimes is a spa day. Take some time out during your stay to relax in some of the world’s finest hammams and spas. If you’re new to the hammam experience, step back in time with this ancient regional spa ritual used for group gatherings or individual relaxation. Indulge in a hammam treatment or simply enjoy the facilities at our list of Dubai’s best.

1. Anjana Spa – for a luminous finish

Anjana will take your relaxing spa day to the next level with luxurious amenities like pools, saunas, an ice fountain and most importantly, the ever-popular Turkish Hammam. These beautiful facilities and a pleasant staff are the perfect combination toward ultimate tranquillity. This spa offers the cleansing hammam treatment through traditional Turkish methods, setting the standards for the modern enjoyment of this ancient bathing and relaxation practice.

2. The Spa - for the ultimate relaxation day

Visit The Spa at Dubai’s Palace Downtown for a relaxing retreat in a chic, Arabian-inspired setting. For its menu of regionally-influenced treatments, The Spa uses a range of premium and organic beauty brands such as Natura Bisse and Les Sens de Marrakech. Indulge in their oriental hammam ritual, which features Rhassoul clay from Morocco’s Atlas Mountains combined with rose water for the ultimate soothing experience; or, choose the oriental hammam scrub, during which a traditional black soap is applied to the body before a traditional steam bath.

3. Jumeirah Zabeel Saray - for a traditional experience

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is an opulent Ottoman-inspired resort on Palm Jumeirah, and within its palatial grounds sits the Talise Ottoman Spa. Set in its own building within the complex, the award-winning spa is home to a spectacular hammam. The vaulted, marble-clad room features intricate tiles and inlays and is subtly perfumed. The Royal Ottoman Hammam (AED590 for one hour) gives the age-old Turkish bathing tradition a luxurious makeover. Specialists use herbal concoctions and kese mitts to exfoliate, massage, shampoo and wash hair and body to a baby softness.

4. Talise Ottoman Spa - for a majestic experience

Be transformed by the award winning Talise Ottoman Spa, the Middle East’s largest hammam and certainly one of its best. Dozens of treatment and relaxation rooms make up the luxuriously cavernous spa, which features a popular Turkish hammam at its centre. You will need at least half a day to embark on this sensory journey. Afterwards, indulge in a refreshing mint tea on the terrace of Al Nafoorah — one of Dubai’s finest Lebanese restaurants.

5. One&Only Spa - for a secret sanctuary

As soon as you step foot into the lush gardens surrounding the One&Only Royal Mirage, your muscles will begin to relax. In the far reaches of the property, you will find the resort’s stand-alone hammam spa, a secret favourite of local and international celebrities. Individual and group treatments are offered beneath a stunning mosaic stained-glass ceiling. With a menu full of unique hammam rituals to choose from, for the ultimate in luxury, enjoy the Hammam Rose Ritual. Envelop your senses with the soothing aroma of rose and mint while enjoying a pure clay body wrap to rejuvenate dehydrated skin, gentle honey face mask and a head and body massage.

6. Saray Spa - for the golden standard

Situated within the world’s tallest hotel is a wonderfully secluded spa that features a traditional-style hammam. With plenty of options to select from, the Saray Golden Hammam sets the bar for luxury treatments. Complete with a golden Arabian honey facial mask and a massage using 24 carat gold-infused oil, guests are transported into a sublime state of relaxation.
